**C|Prime Modern Italian Steak & Wine**, located in the Century Plaza Hotel, is hiring for full or part time **Host / Hostess** positions, for a variety of shifts (primarily evenings).

Our employees have a passion for hospitality and are an integral part of our restaurant; being an ambassador to our standards and culture. By consistently providing a warm welcome and great service, the they provide a first and last impression to our guests.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Greet and seat guests;
- Manage a floorplan with available tables;
- Communicate with guests who are waiting;
- Answer the phone and take reservations;
- Support service staff and bussers where needed.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 1-year experience in an upscale restaurant setting;
- Possess good health, safety and personal hygiene habits;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude;
- Professional presentation;
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
- Well organized with the ability to deal with high volume;
- Proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time;
- Flexibility to work a mix of mornings and evenings;
- OpenTable reservation system experience is an asset;
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
