**The Role**

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is looking for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Truck Technician for our South East Bodyshop location, who is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards, preparing service documentation in accordance with company policy, and performing quality work while adhering to the work assigned to them.

**Responsibilities**

Perform quality work without direct supervision and overseeing the work of the apprentice assigned to them

Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems

Install new or replacement parts according to specifications

Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specification and legislated regulations

Assure completion of all repairs, maintenance requirements and/or modifications to the truck or other assigned vehicle

Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available

**Requirements**:

- A High school diploma
- A Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician with heavy truck experience
- Preferred Heavy Duty Truck dealership experience

**Shift**

This is a permanent Full Time position.
