Based in our Burlington office, the Payroll & HR Coordinator provides general human resources support to the organization by keeping HR Master data up to date including employee information and benefits. In addition, this role is reponsible for biweekly payroll including month and year end balancing and reporting. This role also can assist the HR Team in implementing and optimizing culture and people programs to cultivate and sustain an environment where top talent wants to work.

**Role+Responsibilities
- Processing of the biweekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now
- Administer bonuses, pension, benefits and special payments through payroll
- Process payroll year end, submit annual remittances and adhere to legislative deadlines
- Produce month end reporting including journal vouchers and cheque requisitions
- Produce record of employments for terminated employees or employees on leaves of absence.
- Maintains HR information systems (SAP) and keep employee files up to date and accurate
- Administers the company’s fleet vehicles including vehicle assignments, credit cards, maintenance, leasing and year end taxable benefit reporting
- Address employees’ HR or Payroll related questions and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection processes including updating position descriptions, preparing postings and advertisements scheduling interviews

**Qualifications+Profile
- Good knowledge of payroll rules, regulations and processes (Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification an asset)
- Attention to detail and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of Employment Standards legislation
- Bilingual (French/English) an asset
