Who is Purpose Advisor Solutions? Purpose Advisor Solutions is searching for a Portfolio Manager (Investment Counsellor) to join our wholly-owned Harness Investment Management (Harness) business, to serve clients across Canada. This position will report to our headquarters in Toronto.
Harness is a turnkey portfolio manager that provides investment management as a service. Harness partners with independent family advisory firms and investment managers to offer discretionary portfolio management services to end investors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Challenges the wealth management industry status quo to enable a better investment experience for clients.
- Be a trusted resource to our partner firms and enable them to accelerate their growth.
- Works directly with clients and partner firms to assess clients’ goals and objectives and personalize portfolios that will best suit them.
- Performs sales and service support activities to meet client needs and maintain overall service levels.
- Works collaboratively with internal teams including Harness leadership, service, trading, product, and sales to identify and pursue growth opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Has between 3 to 10 years of relevant experience and experience in a client-facing role as an investment advisor or portfolio manager/associate portfolio manager role.
- Either CFA or CIM designation is required OR close to obtaining the same.
- Strong sales and client management skills.
- Strong sense of integrity.
- Strong understanding of compliance and investment best practices.
- Strong people skills and a positive attitude - You will be interacting with other Portfolio Managers, Financial Advisors, Internal Support & Custodial Representatives.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be an adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to balance fun with a high personal bar for performance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have
- Bilingual (French/English) -verbal and written is an asset.
- Financial Planning experience is considered an asset.
- Advanced technical skills.
