The Recruitment Coordinator will work in a hybrid work environment and will be required, from time to time, to be present at the Company Headquarters located in Edmonton, AB (YEG).
**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the** Recruitment Coordinator** include:
- Responsible to create, advertise, and manage job requisitions based on current staffing needs
- Coordinate, schedule, and participate in virtual and in-person recruitment events
- Assist with accommodation and travel arrangements when required
- Maintain the applicant's tracking system and employee personal files
- Participate in weekly forecast meetings
- Track and report on recruiting metrics to determine efficiencies and areas for improvement
- Provide administrative and office support to the Human Resources team as required
- Other duties as assigned
**Safety Duties, Accountabilities, Authorities, and Responsibilities**:
- Involved in reactive and proactive risk assessments
- Initiate the creation and implementation of corrective action plans as a result of Event/Hazard Reports, Preventative/Corrective Action Requests (PCAR), or audit findings
- Encourage active participation in the SMS for all FAL personnel
**Qualification and Educations Requirements**:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in high volume, full-cycle recruitment
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is preferred
- Experience working with social media including LinkedIn
- Previous experience using an HRIS system or applicant tracking system is an asset
- Experience working with a Unionized workforce and working with Unions is preferred
- Knowledge of the Canada Labour Code
- Proficient in using MS Office products
- CHRP Certification (or working towards) is an asset

- Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with an excellent judge of character
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to handle a high volume of daily requirements and work well under pressure
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a very busy environment
- Flexible to meet and adapt to constantly changing demands of the workplace
