Homesol Building Solutions is an Energy Conservation Consulting Company with over 20 years of experience. We offer energy assessments, modeling, ratings, labels, and verified building energy solutions for homeowners and home builders across Canada.
Reporting to the Office Administrator, this full-time position consists of 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position is located at our Ontario regional office in Perth, ON.
Starting Hourly Rate: $18
After 3 Month successful review: $20
Homesol Group Benefits begin at 6 months from date of hire.
We are looking for an eager self-starter who cares about the environment and has excellent customer service skills. While not a requirement for this position, a knowledge of building science would be an asset.
This role continues to evolve as the company continues to grow. The specific duties and responsibilities may change, but you will be given support and training throughout the process as we develop and incorporate new systems. As you expand your knowledge base you will be asked to assist with other duties in a relief capacity.
**_ Duties and Tasks_**
The successful incumbent will be asked, but not limited to
- Troubleshoot customer challenges and assist in timely resolution
- Develop a strong understanding of the federal Canada Greener Homes Program, as well as an understanding of how Homesol interacts with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to provide energy assessments to homeowners
- Assist with inquiries related to other federal, provincial and regional energy programs
- Assist with overall daily operations of the office and administrative team as required
- Perform data entry into various programs and software for data management purposes.
- Assist with the management of scheduling client appointments with Energy Advisors

- A good grasp of geographical locations (within Ontario) an asset
