At Floor Country Canada, we are looking for people that are passionate about interior design & sales. We are seeking a hands-on and enthusiastic Interior Designer with passion for sales to join our team. As a member of our team, you would be working directly with clients on your projects to create beautiful spaces, that deliver on client’s needs and wants.

Floor Country Canada is more than just a flooring store. We provide our clients with a full rage of services from affordable interior design, cabinetry, stone counter tops, window coverings, kitchen, bath & home renovations to project completion. We simplify the journey so our clients can focus on enjoying their beautiful homes.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assisting customers, asses their needs, guide customer decisions and secure the sale
- Travel within the city for in home designs consults and site measurements
- Provide customers with estimates and design on their projects
- Create and draft preliminary space plans and provide clients with material samples
- Inputting orders/quotes into the computer system and confirms availability of product.
- Establishing proactive communication with customers to ensure understanding of product ordered, installation process, product care and warranty information
- Actively seeking opportunities to network and build relationships to promote business growth
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio, promotions and new products

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Diploma/certificate in interior design
- Passionate about creating stunning interiors and providing exceptional customer service
- 2+ years of interior design and sales experience
- Excel at providing solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives
- Creative abilities in interior design and decorating
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Ability to read blueprints and work with tape measure
- Excellent computer and math skills
- Proficient with free-hand sketching
- Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Skills to work both collaboratively and autonomously
- Positive attitude, willing and quick to learn, hardworking, problem-solving
- Possess a valid Driver’s License & have access to a vehicle

**Compensation: Base + Commission**

**Salary**: $30,940.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
- Interior Design: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 3 years (preferred)
