Haccp Coordinator

Reporting to the Chief Culinary Officer, the **HACCP Coordinator** is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) program for the Saffron Hill Culinary Centre.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of the HACCP program, including development, implementation, verification of documents and on-going maintenance and reassessment to ensure compliance to regulations.
- Audit production facility and processes to ensure all employees adhere to HACCP and Quality Assurance programs. When there is a deviation, this is reported to operation management to implement compliance.
- Lead any HACCP-related investigations, including resolution and tracking.
- Lead microbial sample collection and coordination with external laboratory partners.
- Maintain and coordinate recall policies and processes.
- Responsible for all document control related to the HACCP system.
- Prepare for and assist in inspections and audits by regulatory agencies (ex. CFIA), including follow up for corrective action.
- Train team members on food safety principles and regulations related to HACCP program.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including corrective actions and recommendations. Communicate effectively with managers and teams to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Participate in Saffron Hill Health and Safety program.
- Provide regular reporting on HACCP and other Health & Safety issues.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree in Food Science, or a related field with a three to five years of food safety related experience
- HACCP certification required
- SQF certification or experience preferred
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes
- Strong communication and leadership skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
