**The Opportunity**

Superior Forklift is looking for a Shop Foreman for our **Shop Technician, Charge Hand** (Heavy Equipment or Automotive) position in **Regina, Saskatchewan**. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Service Technicians and completing heavy machinery repairs for our loyal customers.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Shop Technician, Charge Hand your key responsibilities will include:

- Diagnose and repair heavy machinery and equipment as required by customers
- Partner with the Service Dispatcher to assign work to Technicians as needed
- Work closely with the Dispatcher, Service Manager, and Technical Support as needed
- Provide support to the Shop Coordinator and Dispatcher when discussing technical repairs with customers
- Communicate effectively with the Parts department on the status of parts for ongoing jobs
- Proactively identify maintenance and repair opportunities for equipment
- Ensure all Technicians are following current warranty processes as outlined by the manufacturer
- Oversee quality control for all ongoing and completed jobs in the shop
- Ensure safety initiatives and best practices are upheld

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Provincial Heavy Duty Journeyperson’s ticket is a strong asset
- 10+ years of prior experience working as a technician
- Previous Charge Hand or leadership experience is considered an asset
- Previous aerial platform and lift truck experience is considered an asset
- High-school diploma
- Strong computer skills and trouble shooting skills
- Valid driver’s license supported by driver’s abstract

The base pay range for this role is: $38 to $45 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an **onsite** role based in **Regina, Saskatchewan**.
