Proud to be one of six in the Toro Aluminum Group of Companies with a long and successful history in the commercial glazing industry, Commdoor Aluminum provides high-quality architectural aluminum building products for engineers, architects, glazing contractors, designers and building owners.

Commdoor Aluminum was established in 1989 to serve the commercial and industrial demand of architectural aluminum products. Our head office and manufacturing plant is located in Woodbridge, Ontario north of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

**Management/Supervision/Leadership**:

- No supervisory responsibility

**Technical / Function-Specific**:

- Contact customers to exchange information and discuss quote details.
- Revise the quotes on an as-needed basis.
- Provide assistance, specifications and information to customers based on their inquiries.
- Take walk-in pricing requests.
- Review costing to ensure quotations are correct.
- Review outstanding issues and seek a resolution.
- Coordinate with customer service department to clarify the request of orders.
- Work with tech service for material compatibility.

**Health & Safety**:

- Work in compliance with the Health & Safety Act and regulations including using any equipment, protective devices or clothing required by the employer
- Report any known workplace hazards or violations of the Act to the employer or supervisor.

**Internal / External Customer Service**:

- Establishes effective working relationships with customers, management and other key stakeholders with the business.

**Other / List Other Unique Major Categories**:

- Performs other duties and works on special projects as required.

**Administration**:

- Ensures that all administrative tasks required for the department are completed promptly and in line with company standards and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY OPERATE IN THE ROLE

Experience
- 2+ years quoting/estimation experience.
- Window/Door industry experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read architectural drawings is an asset.
- Strong mathematical skills
