We are ideally looking for someone who is highly organized, professional, good with technology, administratively exceptional and works well in a team environment. **Critical Success Factors**: - Energetic outside the box thinker - Ability to manage multiple and concurrent responsibilities - Excellent communication, negotiation, organization and presentation skills - Experience managing multiple and concurrent responsibilities and "can-do" attitude - Willingness to travel on occasion - Able to excel in high pressure situations. **Overall expectations**: - Provide administrative support related to all aspects of projects from tender stage to close-out - Obtain tender documents and drawings and review these for such items as bonding and insurance requirements - Attend site meetings as required - Manage the Stolk plans room and all its capabilities - Communicate with subcontractors, vendors and clients regarding opportunities, changes, status of submission, etc. - Assist PMs on closing day by assembling tender submission information - Create draft POs as required - Collect and manage required documentation from subcontractors (form 1000, insurance, H&S policy, sign off of Stolk H&S policy, close out documentation etc.) - Oversee project document control, project safety boards, project photos, etc. - Perform pickups and deliveries as required by PM - Assist with ensuring proper contracts are in place at the front-end of a project - Assist with ensuring General Foremen have a Project Information Sheet at the start of each project - Assist with the response to needs of General Foremen in a timely basis **Qualifications**: Minimum 1-year experience in an administrative function that supports projects (preferably in the construction industry) - High proficiency in MS Office - Ability to organize and prioritize daily workload - Excellent command of the English language (oral and written) - College or University Degree **Job Type**: Full time **Expected Remuneration**: $20.00 - $24.00 **Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Port Colborne, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Project management assisting: 1 year (preferred) - Business Project & Program Management Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
