**Steve Marshall Ford**, part of the Steve Marshall Group, which operates New, Used and RV Dealerships throughout British Columbia and the US. A multiple award-winning company with more than 300 employees, is looking to hire a **Full-Time Shipper/Receiver**.

**Responsibilities**:
Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer

Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions

Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances

Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods

Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems

May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Ensure that all shipments are properly labeled and stored in the designated areas.

Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.

Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Requirements**:
Must have a clean driving record, class 5 or 7.

Ability to lift heavy objects

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with computer systems and software used for tracking shipments and inventory

**Wage**:
$18.00

**Schedule**

Tuesday to Saturday 8a to 5p
