Brandt is currently seeking a Service Writer in our Saskatoon Manufacturing location. The Service Writer will be responsible for planning, issuing and coordinating accurate work packages to the shop. The Service Writer will advise the customer on recommended or required services and communicate this to the internal team.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage and coordinate and track assigned work orders from start to invoicing
- Work closely with CSA and shop personnel to ensure clear and sufficient information is provided and issued on each work order
- Compile and review Inspection Reports and standard operating procedures to plan work through various shop departments
- Purchase and procure materials and components necessary for assigned work order completion
- Maintains department filing and records
- Prepare and communicate scope of work change orders as required
- Other duties as assigned by the manager

**Required Skills**:

- 2+ years related experience in a service or industrial repair department
- Industrial trade certification is considered an asset
- Engineering technologist diploma is considered an asset
- Professional communication skills; organization, high attention to detail, and timeliness
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
