About the Role
Wessuc’s Land Application programs handle over 400,000 m3 of organic waste each year. This non-agricultural source material is spread on agricultural land in an environmentally responsible manner. We are looking for a highly motivated Land Coordinator to support our Land Application programs in Southwestern Ontario (London and Sarnia areas).
As Land Coordinator you will:
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate the suitability of farms and fields;
- Create and submit Non-Agricultural Source Material (NASM) plans;
- Coordinate spreading schedules with operations and farms in accordance with farm crop schedules and crop nutrient needs;
- Respond to questions or concerns from neighbouring communities and/or farms.
- Participate in independent research on the use of biosolids on various crop and soil types;
This position involves regular travel (4 days per week) to client sites across Southwestern Ontario (London and Sarnia areas). A company vehicle is provided.
