We specialize in providing mortgage solutions tailored to clients with intricate financing requirements. While our team addresses a range of mortgage planning needs, our expertise lies in providing Investment Mortgage, Reverse Mortgage, and Debt Consolidation (HELOC) services.

**Qualifications**:

- **Must hold a valid and up-to-date mortgage license**:

- **Must have 5 years+ previous experience as a Mortgage Underwriter**:

- **Extensive expertise in underwriting: 'A', Alternative, and Private files**:

- **Possess a proven track record of underwriting 60+ files per month**:

- Profound knowledge in mortgage products, industry terminology and financial statements
- Strong understanding of current mortgage loan underwriting principles, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Extremely pro-active and a self-starter
- Can quickly learn new technologies and systems
- Excellent critical-thinking skills to find solutions for clients
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations independently

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines governing mortgage lending. Verify compliance with internal policies and quality standards throughout the underwriting process.
- Cultivate strong client relationships by providing personalized service, addressing inquiries, and maintaining regular communication throughout the mortgage process.
- Collaborate closely with mortgage brokers to clarify and obtain any missing or additional information necessary for loan approval.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of underwriting decisions, requirements, and conditions to clients involved in the loan process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and underwriting guidelines to maintain a high level of proficiency and ensure compliance

**Preferred**:

- Fluency in another language

Pay: $36,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
