Scott Subaru is searching for an Experienced Service Advisor.

We are an established Automobile Dealership on the North Side of Red Deer that offers competitive wages and benefits.

Responsibilities include:

- Service Appointment Scheduling
- Opening work orders with concise and accurate descriptions of specific customer problems and needs
- Recommending and explaining required automotive maintenance and repairs to customers
- Outlining cost estimates, approximating completion times, and securing agreements from customers before beginning repairs
- Communicating frequently and effectively with Service Technicians to obtain information on needed vehicle repairs
- Keeping customers informed of repair progress and communicating any additional work required as needed
- Explaining warranty policies and factory-recommended maintenance schedules to customers
- Staying updated with technical and performance information for all vehicles serviced by the dealership
- Encouraging customers to maintain their vehicle value by advising proper service and maintenance procedures
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Accepting payments and personal information from customers
- Will be Cross Trained in Parts

Required qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 Year’s Experience
- The ability to communicate technical information in a manner that customers understand
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows)
- Customer service skills, including highly effective listening and communication
- Excellent detail-oriented organization and multi-tasking abilities.
- Team player who is also able to work independently
- Valid Class 5 or better driver’s license. A criminal record check and driver’s abstract are required, and previous employment inquires will be made
