**Position Summary**

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our team in our Markham, ON office. This onsite role is ideal for someone passionate about digital content and who has a strong understanding of various social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, WeChat, and RED. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating and editing engaging short videos, managing social media accounts, and growing our online presence. As a Social Media Specialist at First Class Realty, you will play a critical role in connecting with our audience and enhancing our brand visibility.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Create and Edit Video Content**: Produce and edit short videos tailored for platforms such as YouTube and TikTok to engage our audience and promote our services.
- **Social Media Management**: Manage and post content across various social media channels, including but not limited to YouTube, TikTok, WeChat, and RED.
- **Engagement and Community Building**: Actively engage with our online community, respond to comments, and foster a positive brand presence.
- **Monitor Trends**: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and content strategies to ensure our content remains relevant and effective.
- **Content Strategy**: Work closely with the marketing team to align content strategies with broader business goals, ensuring consistency in brand messaging.
- **Analyze and Report Performance**: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns to guide future strategies and improve engagement.
- **Collaborate with Teams**: Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to support promotional campaigns and enhance overall brand awareness.
**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: No prior experience required, though familiarity with video editing tools and social media platforms is preferred.
- **Video Editing Skills**: Proficient in creating and editing short-form videos; experience with platforms like TikTok and YouTube is an asset.
- **Social Media Savvy**: Solid understanding of social media platforms, especially YouTube, TikTok, WeChat, and RED, and the ability to adapt content for each platform.
- **Language Skills**: Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset, as we serve a diverse client base.
- **Creativity and Attention to Detail**: Ability to create visually appealing and engaging content that aligns with our brand.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, especially when managing multiple platforms and campaigns.
