STIHL Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany, is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and handheld outdoor power equipment in Canada. We have an immediate opening at our London head office for a full-time **HR Coordinator. ** This position reports to the HR Manager.

**The key responsibilities for this position include**:

- JHSC Member, conduct health & safety meetings, inspections, post minutes on communication board and oversee the Health & Safety binder
- Report WSIB claims, follow-up and oversee return to work programs
- Process bi-monthly payroll
- Benefits Administration: administer employee benefits programs
- Handle administrative HR tasks, such as onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee records, and managing HR systems and databases
- Pension Administration: Register new employees and manage existing employees
- Work with HR Manager on various HR projects; Employee Engagement Survey, lunch and learns, training
- Assist with expense reporting system
- Cover reception duties when receptionist is away

**Skills & Qualifications include**:

- 2-3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- CHRP designation
- Knowledge of Human Resources legal requirements inc: OHSA, WSIB, ESA, Human Rights Code.
- Experience with Workforce Now (ADP)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization
- Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize and problem solve in a busy environment
- High level of integrity & maturity; the ability to maintain confidentiality and act in an honest, trustworthy manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft word, Outlook, Excel
