**Bargaining Unit: NON-UNION** **Status: Full Time TEMPORARY** **Department: Pain Management** **Site: St. Joseph's Hospital** **Rate of Pay: $42.63 - $53.29 per hour*** **JOB DESCRIPTION**: Reporting to the Clinical Manager - Chronic Pain Management Program & Project ECHO (the "Manager"), the Supervisor - Regional Coordinated Access Project (the "Supervisor") will take the lead in planning and conducting a current state assessment of referral processes utilized in Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) programs/organizations in the North West Region. Analysis of the findings will identify gaps and support the development of a regional plan for coordinated access, which will integrate with the Provincial Coordinated Access Model (in development). Additionally, working in collaboration with regional partners/organizations, the Manager and Regional Coordinated Access Project Lead, the Supervisor will develop a coordinated access strategy and implementation plan for Northwestern Ontario. **QUALIFICATIONS**: Education/Experience: - Degree or Diploma in health sciences/health promotion or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the position - Extensive knowledge and related work experience within the mental health and addictions field - Minimum of three years of progressively responsible leadership and administrative experience Skills/Abilities: - Superior ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with private and public officials, subordinates, co-workers, and community partners - Excellent project/time management, quality improvement, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Strong leadership skills including the ability to direct, motivate, evaluate, and recognize staff; proven ability to share skills and knowledge with others - Ability to develop and deliver presentations, information sessions, and education modules to groups using language appropriate to the audience - Team player with the ability to influence and persuade - Proficiency with office computer equipment and software - Ability to work independently, interdependently, and participate as a contributing member of a variety of teams within the workplace, community and ministries/agencies to meet program goals and objectives - Flexible with the ability to manage changing priorities - Extensive knowledge and skills with quality improvement methodology - Knowledge of and ability to interpret applicable provincial legislation and related regulations, accreditation and professional standards and practices, safety regulations; and related mental health best practices - Competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health & Safety Act Assets: - Experience with virtual care technology (i.e. Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN), Webex, etc.) is an asset - Knowledge of the current state of the MHA systems navigation is an asset - Experience with project management is an asset **CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**: - Will be required to travel to various work locations throughout Northwestern Ontario and provide own transportation - Must undergo a successful Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) - **_St. Joseph's Care Group is committed to providing high quality client-centred care by building a respectful and inclusive workforce that reflects the diverse population it serves.
