**What to expect on the job**

Reporting to the Supervisor, Deductions, the Deductions Coordinator is responsible for managing all Customer Deductions that are assigned and provide administrative support to the Deductions team.
- Accurately process customer deductions and payments according to established policies and procedures focusing on achieving deduction targets
- Accurately process valid trade deductions according to contract terms in a timely manner
Identify and actively resolve invalid deductions, leveraging Standard Operating Procedures
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the internal sales team, working closely to ensure compliance with customer contracts
- Maintain appropriate documentation and backup to support valid deductions & post audits

**Must Haves**:

- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in a business-related field of study
- 1-2 years of related accounting or deductions experience
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong detail orientation coupled with process documentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to compile required data efficiently and organize accordingly
- Ability to identify errors, inaccuracies and promptly resolve in a service-oriented manner
- Team player, willing to help where needed and able to voice improvement opportunities
- Experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is considered an asset

**High Liner Foods is Remote Friendly** We offer a Flexible Hybrid Work Model where corporate office employees have the flexibility to choose a minimum of two office days per week, with the option to work wherever they prefer (office or remote) for the remainder of the week.
