Trade-Mark Industrial is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This position will work in a fast-paced environment and will work with a wide range of technologies. Daily activities range from Windows workstation and Exchange administration, project assignments, to working with staff daily to troubleshoot hardware and technical issues as they arise. Some travel within Ontario may be required. Excellent customer service skills are required along with the ability to think quickly and “out-of-the-box” to achieve desired results. **Technical Skills**: - Microsoft networking technologies including Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and 2019 administration - Active Directory ( AD ) experience: must be able to do site and user management & Group Policy ( GP ) configurations: Group Policy Object ( GPO ) - MS Exchange 2019 - Administration / Mailbox Setup / Configuration / Troubleshoot - VMware 7.0\6.7.0 server virtualization, management and support - Cisco Networking Equipment - Installation / Basic Configuration / Troubleshoot - Understanding of Storage systems, primarily SAN/NAS Storage. - Windows desktop environment technologies; Office 2013/2016, Windows 7/8.1/10/11 - Mobile Product Support - iPad/iPhone/Android (phone and tablet) plus MDM knowledge - Printers / Scanners - Installation / Support / Troubleshoot - VoIP Systems - Configuration / Troubleshoot. Specifically Zoom System. **Position Requirements** - College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science - 1 - 2 years relevant work experience. - Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 &11; Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Server, and Linux variants. - Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including hardware RAID, Active Directory, TCP/IP and Wireless technology. - Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience. - Able to install, support, and troubleshoot server and PC hardware components and peripherals. - Experience with MDM software or device platform (Soti and JAMF). - Knowledge of Web Design / programming also Database programming would be an asset - Working knowledge of Backup Software and Enterprise Antivirus. - Working technical knowledge of VMware ESX Server, Cisco networking equipment. **Personal Attributes** - Strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required. - Ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non-technical language. - Highly self-motivated and directed. - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Strong customer service orientation. - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. **Work Conditions** - Fast-paced environment with the requirement for 99.9% uptime during business hours. - Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals. - Great opportunity for professional growth and learning. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Additional pay: - Bonus pay Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Education**: - AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) **Experience**: - Systems & Applications Administrators & Architects: 1 year (preferred)
