**Contracts Manager**

**35Pharma** is a biopharmaceutical company that designs and develops innovative biologics for pulmonary hypertension and musculoskeletal disorders. We are looking for a dynamic **Contracts Manager **to help support the company in its rapid growth. The position is based at the company’s Old Montreal office.

**Role**

Under the supervision of the General Counsel, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the management of contracts for the company.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support the contract administration lifecycle, including responding to and tracking inbound requests, basic review and contracts interpretation, routing requests to team members for response, archiving and maintaining confidentiality of all work material
- Act, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, as the internal coordinator of contracts and subsequently, ensure the follow-up of contractual activities as required
- Prepare drafts of standard agreements
- Management of internal contract database (Legal Suite)
- In collaboration with the legal counsel, review and support the negotiation of the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts (confidentiality agreements, service agreements, etc.)
- Train co-workers and hold meetings on contract process and status of agreements
- Generate reports, spreadsheets, and other documents, as requested, reporting on contracts in process as well as executed
- Support the continuous improvement of standard contract templates
- Support the implementation of various corporate policies
- Support various internal approval processes related to commercial contracts and ensure adherence to internal standards
- Support the implementation of processes to ensure that contract management activities are efficient and streamlined

**Job Requirements**:

- You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an in-house legal department, handling contract administration and management of contracts, or other relevant experience
- Paralegal or legal degree or a combination of other degree and relevant experience
- You are customer focused and oriented
- You possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization
- You show strong leadership and have the ability to work autonomously with mínimal direction
- A quick and efficient learner with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate the ability to work with deadlines and under pressure
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent ability to balance competing demands on your time
- Excellent written and oral communication skills combined with the ability to understand contractual terms and conditions
- Capacity to handle confidential and proprietary information using discretion and judgment
- Flexible and willing to accept new responsibilities as required
- You are bilingual - French and English
