Job Title: Hostess / Busser / Expo / Food Runner Location: Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House - Southdown, Mississauga Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Breakfast & Lunch Service) About Us: Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House is a family-friendly, fast-paced breakfast and lunch restaurant known for our warm hospitality, hearty meals, and exceptional service. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and a positive, team-oriented environment for our staff. Position Overview: We are looking for energetic, friendly, and reliable individuals to join our front-of-house team. This role is a combination position where you may work as a Hostess, Busser, Expo, or Food Runner depending on daily needs. You will be a key part of ensuring smooth service, happy guests, and a clean, organized dining area. Responsibilities: Hostess Duties Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly according to server sections. Manage the waitlist and communicate wait times. Answer phones and take reservations when required. Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area. Busser Duties Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently. Assist servers with delivering water, coffee, and condiments. Keep floors, service stations, and dining areas clean and tidy. Expo Duties Organize and check food orders for accuracy before sending to guests. Communicate with kitchen and servers to ensure timely food delivery. Ensure plates are garnished and presented correctly before leaving the pass. Food Runner Duties Deliver food to tables promptly and accurately. Assist guests with any additional needs when delivering food. Communicate any guest feedback to servers or management. Requirements: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an asset, but not required. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as required. Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest experiences.
