**Job Purpose**

The Seasonal Camp Attendant is responsible for ensuring the living area of the camp is clean and sanitary. They will consistently provide positive service and assistance with all camp employees and guests while making sure to follow all policies and guidelines as set out by Health and Safety Guidelines.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Keep the living areas of the camp in a clean and sanitary manner (sleeping quarters, hallways, washrooms, and entrance ways).
- Vacuum and sweep daily.
- Empty garbage cans in all rooms daily
- Wash all towels, aprons, etc. as required in the a.m. or early p.m. to leave machines free for the crews to do their laundry.
- Clean lint screens in the dryer after every load.
- Make beds daily and change linen weekly or as required.
- Keep an accurate record of housekeeping supplies and store in a secure place to discourage loss.
- Keep sidewalks and walkways clean of debris, snow and ice.
- Clean the inside of windows weekly and wash down the outside windows of the camps as required.
- Ensure no leaks or garbage is around the camps and that the shutters on the outside of the camp are open (not closed).
- Follow all guidelines as set out by the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
- Camp Attendant’s duties are not limited to the job description as each client may have different requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience cleaning in camps is considered an asset.
- 2+ years’ experience working a rotational schedule in a seasonal remote camp environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with an ability to work independently and in a team environment.

**Working Conditions**

The special working conditions entails seasonal work dependent on the industry and weather, 12 hour shift work, 3 weeks in and 1 week out rotational schedule, and being isolated for periods of time.

**Physical Requirements**

Seasonal Camp Attendant position requires standing for extended periods of time, lifting and carrying heavy objects (50+ pounds) on a regular basis, and performing repetitive tasks with few breaks.

**Safety Responsibility**

Attend and participate in daily Toolbox Meetings and weekly Safety Meetings

Report all incidents, near misses, injuries and property damage incidents to the supervisor immediately

Perform Fire Warden duties, as required

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
