Kelowna, Canada Whitehouse Contracting Full time

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable person to join our team. You will participate in a variety of projects throughout the Okanagan area and follow construction plans and instructions as required. This is a full time permanent position.

To be successful in this position, you will work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to preform physical tasks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate site equipment such as various lifts, hand and power tools
- Loading/Unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Other general laborer duties as required

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience in window and door installation
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must own proper PPE
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting
- Lift certification, Fall Arrest, and First Aid are considered an asset
- Journeymen Carpenter is considered an asset

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

Outdoors in all temperatures, working at heights, safety sensitive work sites.

Physically demanding: standing, bending, kneeling.

Work site: Construction which requires full PPE (hard hats, CSA steel toed boots, safety glasses/goggles, high viz).

**TEAM WORK**

Each individual must have the ability to adapt and support the needs of the dynamic working environment in the field. Each employee is a member of a single team with a unified strategy working towards the same goal.

**COMPENSATION**
- Competitive industry salary to be negotiated based on experience

- Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
- Some weekends if required
