**The Role**:
The Program Coordinator plays a key role in delivering high-quality, inclusive programs at Between Friends. Reporting to the Program Manager, they are responsible for the planning, coordination, and day-to-day implementation of assigned programs and events, ensuring they run smoothly, meet organizational goals, and provide safe, fun, and meaningful experiences for participants of all abilities. In addition, the Program Coordinator contributes to the recruitment, training, and supervision of seasonal staff, manages program logistics such as scheduling and resources, and monitors program quality through regular evaluation and feedback.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Bring Programs to Life - Plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging programs and events that create fun, inclusive, and meaningful experiences for participants of all abilities.
- Lead & Inspire - Assist with recruitment, and take the lead in training, supervising, and mentoring seasonal staff, helping them grow while ensuring our programs shine.
- Keep It Running Smoothly - Manage schedules, resources, and logistics so every program runs on time and on point.
- Champion Safety & Inclusion - Ensure a safe, welcoming environment by upholding risk management practices and organizational policies.
- Measure What Matters - Collect feedback, track outcomes, and share insights that help us continually improve and innovate.
- Be the Connection - Build strong relationships with participants, families, and community partners to ensure everyone feels like they truly belong.

**Who You Are**:
You are an organized, compassionate, and community-minded professional who thrives in creating inclusive experiences. You bring a balance of heart and detail to your work, making sure programs run smoothly while always keeping participants’ needs at the center. Specifically, you have:

- **Experience & Knowledge**: At least 3 years in program coordination or a related role, ideally working with people with disabilities. You understand how disabilities impact individuals and are committed to fostering belonging and inclusion.
- **Skills & Strengths**: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. You can juggle multiple tasks, adapt to change, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- **Leadership & Collaboration**: Experience supervising staff or volunteers, and a collaborative approach to working with families, colleagues, and community partners. You are empathetic, approachable, and skilled at building trusting relationships.
- **Technical & Practical Abilities**: Comfortable using Google Suite and registration systems, with a knack for administration (budgeting, scheduling, record-keeping). First Aid/CPR certification is required.
- **Personal Qualities**: Flexible, compassionate, and resourceful—you can step into challenges with confidence and resolve conflicts effectively while keeping the focus on participant satisfaction.

Pay: $52,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
