**George Wakefield Foods Inc.** is a distributor of fresh and frozen food products. Our diverse product lines contain everything from fruit juice, milk, and cheese, to our main product line of ice cream. We have operations spanning from Saskatchewan to Ontario, with our head office located in Winnipeg, MB.

**This route departs Friday to Ontario and drops trailer at our yard in ONT and then switches trailers and works back to Winnipeg with upwards of 10 drops**

**Title: Class 1A Ontario Route Driver**

**Address: Unit B - 1225 Plessis Road, Winnipeg, MB**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Route is based out of Winnipeg and delivers to Brampton ONT
- Secure frozen products and deliver according to BOLs, transport to delivery locations, collect signatures on PODs
- Deliver customer orders by pallet drops (docks)
- Guarantee product is maintained at required temperatures with basic knowledge of refrigeration systems
- Perform daily maintenance checks and operating ELDs via GeoTab Drive
- Keep vehicles clean inside and out
- Adhere to all SOPs and company policies on an ongoing bases
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure positive customer interactions on daily bases
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Employment Requirements**:

- Class 1A license
- Experience with 53 foot trailers
- Must provide a clean driving abstract
- Must be physically fit - able to handle products weighing up to 50 lbs
- Will need to pass a criminal record check
- Experience with reefer trailers
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1A experience
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Authorized to work in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
