**About us** Winter is almost here, come join our Snow Team BrickWerx is a full service, all season landscape/hardscape company in Scarborough, ON. Year round positions may be available for qualified, driven team members. Are you looking to join a great team this winter and make some great money? Then we want you We service many condos in throughout the city and are resposible for keeping their sidewalks and roadways clear. We're looking for hardworking, dedicated people to join us in tackling snow and ice this winter. Pay rates vary $24/hour - shovel crew $26/hour - if you have a valid drivers licence $30/hour - plow operator *WE ALSO OFFER $500/MONTH STANDBY PAY* whether it snows or not We are an equal opportunity employer, all are welcome to apply. A valid drivers licence is preferred but not necessary for this position. **Responsibilities**: - Remove snow and ice using appropriate techniques and equipment and may include shovels, snowblowers, atv, plows, salt etc. - Respond accordingly to ensure safe and efficient snow removal operations - Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time logs, pictures and maintenance reports - Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts and prioritize tasks - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries **Requirements**: - MUST be available to work at anytime including overnight and "on call" 24/7 for entire season as we work whenever it snows - Previous experience operating snow plow equipment (snow blowers) or doing snow removal preferred but not necessary. Fast learners will also be considered. - Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions for extended periods of time - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with snow removal Note: *Standy pay based on availabilty paid monthly on the 15th if all requirements are met. This means being available for EVERY snow removal and salting event when called upon. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor. **Job Type**: Seasonal Contract length: 5 months Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour Additional pay: - Retention bonus Schedule: - On call Application question(s): - Are you able to work on-call for the entire winter season?
