**Triple Eight Transport **is an asset based carrier company with terminals in Abbotsford BC, Calgary AB, and Acheson AB. We provide full-truckload transportation services to and from all major cities in Western Canada and the United States

**Triple Eight Transport Inc. is growing and is in search for a proven strong leader and a communicator with proven relationship or team building skills to join our Team.**

We are currently looking for a **Recruiter** to join our team The Recruiter is responsible for providing confidential and administrative support for a variety of HR related activities such as, recruiting, maintaining employee databases and filing systems, interpreting legislation for development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Partner with executive management and front-line managers in establishing and maintaining an organizational structure and appropriate staffing, through employee development, recruitment, and retention strategies.
- Conduct screening interviews for all departments / positions, schedule second round interviews as required, and complete reference and background checks for potential hires.
- Provide guidance and support to, the management team in Performance management program, which would include performance success plans, progressive discipline, and other documentation, up to and including termination of employment.
- Employee engagement strategy and company processes to support the corporate business plan and to support staff efficiently and effectively, including but not limited to, the orientation and onboarding process and practices.
- Creation and posting of Job profiles and job descriptions.
- Act as a resource and escalation point, to employees at all levels, in the interpretation of employment policies, legislation, and human rights, when managers are unavailable or as needed
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Assist in negotiating job offers and managing the onboarding process for new hires
- Provide support in employee relations matters as needed
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Works effectively as a part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven team player with ability to align position goals with corporate strategic goals
- Proven strength in communication and relation building
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience would be required
- Some post-secondary education is an asset
- Strong time management skills with the proven ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic and superior attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
