We are looking for a **Maintenance Technician **to join our dynamic Team at our Casegoods Division in Kitchener. If you are motivated, enjoy challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment we would love to hear from you
- Cleans facilities by sweeping, dusting, collecting and disposing of garbage, etc.
- Performs routine inspections, maintenance and light repairs (plumbing and safety systems).
- Performs routine landscaping on the grounds.
- Paints walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
- Undertakes light installation or carpentry (e.g., build, repair, adjust cabinets, doors windows).
- Repairs equipment or appliances.
- Assists tradespeople on major electrical, plumbing and equipment repairs.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Identifies and reports the need for major repairs.
- Undertakes other duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g., clearing snow).
- Maintains accurate records of all maintenance and repair tasks performed.
- Performs all responsibilities/services in accordance with company Quality Assurance procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work at heights - must have/obtain Elevated Work Platform certification.
- Previous experience in Construction, Home Repairs/Renovations and/or other similarDIY Projects.
