We are currently looking for a Machine Operator with a Class 5 Code 20 Endorsement If you have lots of experience with Skid Steers come join our team. Compensation: Starting hourly wage will range depending on experience from $35 - $40 an hour assessed after completing a seat test in our location. You will also have a performance review after 3 months. Full benefits will be available after 3 months. We would love to work with you if: You have to have a class 5 code 20 endorsement. You need to be allowed to drive a trailer with 4000 Kg in weight. You have >3 years of experience operating heavy machinery such as skid steers. You are highly motivated, hard working, and excited to work on complex and fast-paced projects. You enjoy working physically in and outdoor environment. You are punctual and work well in a team environment to ensure that jobs are completed safely and on time. Your duties: - Work as a landscaping crew member as an operator to install soft and hardscapes on various projects (pavers, concrete prep, trees and shrubs, sod, site furnishings, etc.) - Operate skid steers to install landscape materials, load trucks, site grading, etc. - Work outside of the machine on hand tools as needed when machines are not needed - Arrive on site on time every day 7:30 am to 3:30 pm shift with possible overtime - Follow all safe work practices **Requirements**: - Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract, with a code 20 endorsement. - Competent with general landscaping tools and power tools, high level of knowledge of landscape and civil construction an asset - 3 years operating heavy equipment (excavator, skidsteer) - Skilled trade (concrete forming, carpentry, etc.) an asset Landesign Landscape Construction Ltd. is a full-service commercial landscape construction company.
