**What You’ll Do**
- Prepare and bake fresh pastries and cakes such as Croissants, Muffins, Tiramisu, Cheese Cakes, etc. based on standard or creative recipes.
- Bring creativity and originality to pastry design.
- Assist with light café food prep (sandwiches, baked treats, and other menu items).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment.
- Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Support day-to-day shop needs, including restocking ingredients and supplies.

**Skills We’d Love to See**
- Previous experience as a baker or pastry cook (completion of related pastry program is an asset but not required).
- Passion for baking, learning and introducing new recipes to the menu.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to BC food safety standards.
- Reliable, adaptable, and a positive team player.
- Fluent English is necessary to serve our diverse community. Additional languages, such as **Farsi/Persian**, are appreciated.
- Food Safe Level 1.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

**Pay & Perks**
- **Pay**: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- **Tips**: shared among staff
