**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Micros POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before serving.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, with basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- SMART serve certified
