**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure that weldments are made accurately and in a timely manner
- Promote and enforce health & safety policies
- Ordering tools, equipment & supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Receive laser cuts.
- Ensuring the welding department conforms to the requirements of the quality management system
- Provide support and suggested solutions to welding issues
- Ensure that NCRs are completed promptly and corrective actions are taken
- Ensure that completed parts/weldments are delivered to respective departments
- Improve work areas, processes and workflow
- Oversee the packaging of and Package equipment for powder coating
- Review part benchmark times and ensure that they are adhered to.
- Assist with all aspects of the welding department

**Qualifications**:
Journeyman Welder

Mechanically Inclined

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Competent use of technology

Excellent communication skills

Ability to deal with stressful situations and fast-pace work environment

Crane certification

Forklift certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
