**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for operation of various machines/equipment (slitting operations, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders, recyclers, and mill operators)

Our Orangeville, Ontario manufacturing facility has an immediate opening in our UHMW Finishing Department for a Mill/Saw Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Consists of the setup and operation of the milling/saw process in a manufacturing plastics environment.
- Mill Operator/Saw Operator is responsible for measuring all dimensions of the parts being produced and completing the first article and in-process inspections.
- The milling/sawing process consists of a conveyor belt and digital controller to set the machine's required thickness.
- Operators mill/saw sheets in passes to achieve the desired finish and gauge.

**Rate of Pay**

Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences both work and education the rate starts at $19.64 - $22.00/hour
- **Production Set-Up Technician - Temp to Perm - 1 vacancy**

Set up and operation of various machines/equipment (extrusion lines, slitting operations, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders), quality control, basic housekeeping, and troubleshooting.

**Qualifications**
- strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning ability
- physical coordination
- experience with handheld measuring equipment /blueprint & drawings
- good math and computer skills
- high attention to detail
- forklift license/experience,
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes.
- Previous experience in a continuous production process (not assembly line) setting up, troubleshooting, tear downs, changeovers

**Rate of Pay**

Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences in both work and education the rate could range from $20.00- $22.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.84-$23.72 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
