_ARROW Utilities, a Capital Region Commission_ is a regional services Commission providing wastewater transmission and treatment to nearly 400,000 people in 13 municipalities surrounding the City of Edmonton. ARROW owns and operates 200 km of wastewater transmission lines, 5 pumping stations, and the main wastewater treatment plant. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, cost efficient, and environmentally responsible wastewater transmission and treatment service.
**OPPORTUNITY**
There is an exciting opportunity to join our team. This position reports to the Director of Information and Strategic Services, and is primarily responsible for:
Ø **Strategic Planning**: Develop and facilitate a planning cycle inclusive of a strategic plan, corporate business plans, departmental plans, and annual performance plans that align with organizational goals.
Ø **Coordination and Alignment**: Ensure organizational activities are aligned and not conducted in silos. Support directors in integrating strategic priorities into day-to-day practices and long-term resourcing.
Ø **Reporting and Transparency**: Develop mechanisms for regular reporting, enhancing transparency and accountability.
Ø **Continuous Improvement**: Promote a continuous improvement model, ensuring that work is completed with defensible intent and purpose.
Ø **New Business Models**: Support the integration of new business practices into ongoing operations.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, and organizational leadership.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of business planning, facilitation, performance management, and reporting frameworks.
- Have experience in continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
- Be proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Possess strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Have strong organizational and project management skills.
- Be a self-starter, able to work under mínimal supervision, exercise good judgment, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaborative across teams, with an aptitude to influence and drive change.
- Be highly organized, motivated, honest, and willing to learn.
- Possess advanced skills with the Microsoft Suite.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $71,437.00-$92,398.00 per year
