**We Need Someone to Join Our Inside Sales Department Team**

**What You’ll Do in this Role**:
As the Inside Sales Representative, your responsibilities will be to help us deal with the tremendous growth that has been created by our wonderful staff and amazing customers. You will assist the Branch Manager in helping further develop the department. Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Direct responsibility for Managing a number of our growing Large Account Sales and the relationships that are required to effectively do so.
- Identify and nurture existing customer base growth opportunities and work towards achieving new market growth and profitability to achieve sales targets within defined Sales territories.
- Taking an active role in Staff Mentorship and Staff Training and Development to ensure Departmental Success and to help encourage Staff Development and Retention.
- Work exceptionally well with Management and Other Team Members to ensure the Best Customer Experience possible.
- Ensure Exceptional Customer Service through the ability to also resolve Customer Concerns in accordance with Company Policy and with Customer Satisfaction in mind.
- Establish and maintain a solid Knowledge and Understanding of the Products and Services we offer.
- Complete Special Orders for items that we either do not have in stock or do not normally carry.
- Maintain an excellent Knowledge and Understanding of the Application, Usage, Needs and Trends of the Industry we serve.
- Take pride in acting as both a role model and a source of inspiration for all staff.
- Be committed to providing a great customer experience and be passionate about the work you do.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent Communication Skills (Written, Verbal, Non-Verbal).
- Exceptional Leadership, Customer Service and Staff Management Skills.
- Minimum 1 Year experience as an Inside Sales Representative (or Equivalent). Experience in the Industrial Supply/Home Improvement Vertical and/or Commercial/Retail Sales sectors will be considered an asset.
- Strong level of comfort Using a robust ERP System for POS Order Transactions and Processing. Experience working with other large Database Driven Systems (Such as CRM Systems) will be considered an asset.
- Ability to respond to RFQ’s and RFP’s
- A solid knowledge of Merx, BuildCentral and other sources of Supplier Support Contracts and Tender Opportunities to help support Outside Sales Representatives
- A solid Knowledge and Understanding of Lead Generation and Management practices to help support Outside Sales Representatives
- Excellent proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite of products, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Sales Report generation, summary, and analysis.
- Post-Secondary Education (or equivalent experience); Minimum High School Diploma required.

**Hours of Work**:
Shift to be scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Occasional Saturday’s (as required) 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Flexibility to be able to work 9:00 am - 5:30 pm shifts if/as necessary.

Participation in Physical Inventory Count Days (normally a maximum of 2 per year) is mandatory
