Hairstylist/barber

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our salon team. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and provide exceptional hair services to our valued clients. **Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and provide recommendations based on their preferences and hair type
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and ensuring their satisfaction
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
- Assist with duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing payments
- Participate in retail sales to promote hair care products

**Quallifications**:

- Valid cosmetology license required
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to listen and understand clients' needs
- Proficiency in various hairstyling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Knowledge of current trends in hair fashion and techniques
- Ability to upsell salon products and services effectively
- Experience with front desk duties is a plus
- Strong retail sales skills are an asset
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards:

- Hair Extension experience

Note: All positions must be paid. This is a commission based job and not an hourly salary. Please ignore the payment range.

Pay: $16.55-$43.06 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
