Abatement Technician

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Clean and prepare work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Build and assemble components or structures as required by project specifications.
- Restore equipment or materials to their original condition through effective repair techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a technician role or similar position is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project requirements.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Abbotsford, BC (V2S): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
