Job description

**Job Title**: 3rd Year Carpenter / Form Setter

**Location**: AECON Industrial Site, Strathcona County, Alberta

**Wage**: $35 - $40 per hour

**Hours**:
6 days a week, 12 hours a day.

Overtime is paid after 8 hours a day and 44 hours a week.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Constructing and setting up concrete forms
- Installing and securing sono tubes
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors
- Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials
- Measuring, marking, and arranging materials according to plans
- Inspecting and repairing structures as necessary

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in industrial construction
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
