We are looking to hire a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational, interpersonal skills and ability to work with mínimal supervision

**Responsibilities**

Manage recruitment of company drivers and owner operators which includes but is not limited to:

- Job postings, pre-selections, interviews, hiring, training, follow-up, reviews etc.
- Manage recruitment for office personnel
- Attend job fairs and recruiting events
- Perform interviews, screenings and recruit for job openings
- Limited HR responsibilities including ( but not limited to) time off management, upkeep of employee manuals, employee incentives
- Complete reference and background checks
- Make and negotiate job offers, prepare employment packages
- Complete all onboardings of employees and drivers

- Create employee files and maintain driver retention programs including meeting with drivers in person and being available via phone for driver inquiries

Assist operations and safety departments with daily tasks that include but not limited to
- Dispatch concerns, breakdowns, hotel bookings, safety concerns and approval of minor repairs
- Working on and following up with WSIB claims relating to company employees

**Qualifications**
- Recruitment experience in the transportation industry
- Experience with driver recruitment would be considered an asset
- Strong customer service background with an outgoing and friendly personality
- Progressive knowledge of the transportation industry required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using various social media platforms (ie. Facebook, Indeed, Instagram, Twitter etc.) in the recruitment process including managing daily content updates, content creation and managing a recruiting advertising budget across all platforms.
- Knowledge of recruitment process through social media platform
- Knowledge of Safety and Compliance as it relates to the recruiting process
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft office programs
