One of our manufacturing clients in **Brantford**, ON** is looking for a **Production Supervisor **for their packaging facility.

**Shifts** - Days or Nights on a Continental

**Responsibilities**:
Lead a positive change initiative aimed at enhancing performance through the motivation, recognition, and inspiration of team members to be more effective and efficient in their tasks.

Advocate for and enforce safety programs and policies to minimize employee accidents and injuries, providing strong safety leadership.

Convert production requirements into a daily work schedule and oversee staff in executing tasks to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, efficiency, cost, and health and safety.

Foster the development, management, training, and motivation of employees by setting job expectations, evaluating results, providing coaching, counseling, and timely disciplinary action.

Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues and internal departments to minimize downtime and breakdowns, thus maximizing the production of high-quality goods.

Offer technical support and expertise to the team.
Boost employee engagement through active participation in continuous improvement and lean methodologies, including housekeeping, feedback, reporting issues, and contributing to problem-solving sessions.

**Qualifications**:
Possess a post-secondary education in Leadership, Maintenance, or Technology, along with prior leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, demonstrating the ability to uphold expectations and ensure accountability.

A committed learner with an openness to change and active involvement in continuous improvement endeavors.

Strong communication skills to address various front-line supervisory matters in a unionized environment.

Results-driven, excelling in a fast-paced, demanding setting, and adept at cultivating positive relationships with all team members.
