We are looking for a hard-working, responsible **Shipping and** **Receiving Clerk** to receive, inspect and unpack containers; prepare and pack shipments, and keep accurate records of shipments of telecommunication network products. You will be responsible for unloading and uploading products and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with procurement staff to organize and schedule expected deliveries
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload reels and packages from incoming containers and trucks
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Verify products according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
- Contact our procurement office if a mistake is identified
- Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Ensure invoices are signed and entered for satisfactory deliveries
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Keep secure records of ingoing and outgoing inventory
- Pack and unpack materials
- Maintain quality control of goods by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure goods are packed, labelled and stored properly
- Sign off on shipping documents (i.e., bills of lading, invoices, etc.)
- Report any damaged stock or equipment to superiors
- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock.
- Receiving, stocking, and stacking.
- Pulling, packing, and loading.
- Ensure safe disposal of leftover packing materials or hazardous waste

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a shipping/receiving clerk or similar position
- Valid license for operating forklifts
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data and controlling inventory
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail
- Good physical condition
- High school diploma

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
