**Papertech Inc. is the leading vision technology vendor for paper and tissue production worldwide. **Papertech, headquatered in Vancouver, BC, is a subsidiary of the **IBS Paper Performance Group. **IBS isan international leader in the custom design and fabrication of paper machine components, with plants across Canada, Europe and the United States. Recent demand has created an important opening for a qualified individual **home-based** in Greater Vancouver, BC.

**The Role**

**As a Field Service Technician**, you will represent Papertech as the on-site expert. You will work with a small team or individually to service, troubleshoot and repair camera vision systems for production lines. Your goal is to optimize the efficiency of the systems within the facilities and make recommendations on system improvements**.**

You will be responsible for multiple clients in Canada and the USA with some international travel also a possibility.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Field experience (3 - 5 years) in mechanical/electrical maintenance
- Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting is essential
- Capacity to build confidence with plant employees
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and photography, CCD cameras and machine vision an asset. **(Training provided)**:

- Fluent in English is **essential**

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
