Warehouse Associate/forklift Operator

**Job description**

**At TC Transcontinental, we’ve got it made, and that's because of the expertise of our team.** We are currently looking for a full-time Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate at our Vaughan plant. Essential to TC Transcontinental Printing operations, the Forklift Operator operates all fork trucks, clamp trucks and associated equipment while performing both production and minor maintenance duties as required.

- Work as a member of the Material Handling Team at the Vaughan Ontario printing plant.
- Operate all fork trucks, clamp trucks and associated equipment.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Schedule, process, track and store all incoming materials into the plant.
- Optimize the operation of material handling equipment and systems.
- Perform both production and minor maintenance duties as required.
- Actively work to ensure that productivity, waste and quality standards are met.
- Participate in the 5S process
- Ability to work within a team environment and interact with all areas of production

- Ability to operate any or all of the following: Fork Trucks, Clamp Trucks and other lifting devices
- Work with computer programs including Word, Excel, Globetek, Production Matrix
- Ability to deal with drivers, trucking companies and others in a positive way

- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High initiative and ability to work with low supervision
