**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking within the kitchen
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality food service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain quality standards
- Implement cost control measures while maintaining exceptional food quality
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a chef role or similar position within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices
- Previous experience in restaurant management or team management is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
- Solid understanding of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation styles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
- A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences
