We invite an **Owner-Operator**with a newer model sprinter to work in both Expedited Domestic and Cross Border shipments.

Owner Operator must be able to start from the Greater Guelph Ontario area dispatched to any assigned location within the United States and Canada. You are required to own a Sprinter Van (which fits 3 standard skids 3000+ lbs) Extended vehicle is Preferred

**What are we looking for?** We currently have an opening for an Owner Operator Sprinter driver based out of the Guelph area. The contract is only applicable to those living within the Guelph, Kitchener, Cambridge and Milton areas.

**Work Schedule / Locations**: Currently Monday to Friday with variable weekends. Work location fluctuates from local work in Guelph - GTA, regional, cross country and cross border shipments to the USA. Please note; Due to the unpredictable schedule we are not able to conclude work on the weekends, we are looking for Owner Operators that are flexible in both the type of work and schedule.

**Location Domiciled**: Guelph, Kitchener, Cambridge and Milton

**Vehicle Requirements**: Extended Highroof Newer Model Sprinter, required to affix placcard holder (provided).

**Additional Certifications**: Dangerous Goods (will haul / training provided), FAST designated or currently applying

**Conditions**: At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience, Clean Record, Valid Licence, Legal Status in Canada, Passport allowing entry into the USA or a valid VISA

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and drive a sprinter van to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize forklift and heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Must be capable of repeatedly lifting over 50 lbs throughout a shift

**What is in it for you?** All permits, plates, tolls and border crossing fees are paid, customs transponder is provided and paid, weekly direct deposits.

**Pay**:Variable, Local Hourly and Mileage Rate Based (depending on work type)

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
