**Job Posting: Confined Space Rescuer / Attendant**
**Full-Time Contract - Out of town**
**Duration**: Approximately 3 months (with potential for future full-time or part-time employment)
**Schedule**: 8-12 hour work days, overtime after 8

**Travel & Accommodations**: Travel time paid at regular time. Transportation and accommodations provided.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform duties in accordance with Ontario Confined Space Regulations (O. Reg. 632/05).
- Confined Space Rescue Technician: Respond to confined space emergencies, perform rescue operations, and support pre-entry risk assessments.
- Confined Space Attendant: Maintain constant communication with workers inside the confined space, monitor atmospheric conditions, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain confined space rescue equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Provide on-site confined space safety oversight, hazard identification, and risk management.
- Accurately complete site documentation, inspection logs, and incident reports.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in confined space rescue operations is highly preferred.
- First Aid/CPR certification or above is highly preferred.
- Experience with self-contained breathing apparatus and rescue equipment is highly preferred.
- Valid MOL Working at Heights Certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Ontario Confined Space Regulations (O. Reg. 632/05) and associated safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform tasks in demanding and confined environments.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work long hours in remote and potentially harsh conditions.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and hazard communication.
- Valid Class “G” Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must provide current and previous employer references.
- Must possess a clean criminal record check.
