**Occupational Therapy Faculty Members**:
The School of Rehabilitation Science currently offers a Master of Physical Therapy program and is expanding to include Master of Occupational Therapy and Master of Speech-Language Pathology programs. This expansion is part of the Government of Saskatchewan’s Health Human Resources Action Plan, focused on creating opportunities for students to train for careers in these professions in Saskatchewan.

The programs will be housed jointly within the School of Rehabilitation Science with intentional opportunities for inter-professional education. Our School aims to foster collaboration and innovation among students and faculty from diverse disciplines, enhancing the educational experience and preparing future leaders in the rehabilitation sciences.

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for four (4) full-time tenure track faulty positions at Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank with the School of Rehabilitation Science, College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to have a significant impact in developing curriculum and teaching within the inaugural Master of Occupational Therapy Program, launching in fall 2026. The successful applicant will also supervise MSc and PhD graduate students, initiate, lead, and participate in research activities, compete successfully for external funding to support their research program, and undertake relevant administrative activities including meetings and committee work. A range of research supports, including start up finding and protected time for development of a research program will be provided.

**Qualifications**

The current salary band for an Assistant Professor position is $107,323 to $128,131, Associate Professor position is $128,131 to $148,939 and Full Professor is $148,939 to $173,215. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package which includes a dental, health and extended vision care plan; pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, an employee assistance program, a professional expense allowance, and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
