**Position Summary**:
Reports to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning, the Bulk Demand Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of raw materials and bulk products to meet production demands. By collaborating with key stakeholders and leveraging data insights, you will help optimize inventory levels, mitigate risks of shortages, and contribute to the overall operational efficiency and success of the facility. Your strategic planning and proactive approach will be essential in meeting market demands and maintaining a steady flow of high-quality cannabis products.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bulk Planning**:

- Review key bulk product attributes to allocate to the proper business stream;
- Identify and develop processes to maximize the utilization of bulk material;
- Forecast bulk supply gaps and strategize on risk mitigation;
- Develop the monthly grow plan;
- Create, maintain, and utilization multiple reports on KPIs, data trends, ad-hoc scenarios;
- Provide frequent updates on supply risks and opportunities to various stakeholders;
- Forecast any B2B and external purchases to support the bulk demand;
- Identify excess bulk for B2B opportunities;
- Align on a harvest method with the Cultivation team based on bulk requirements.

**Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership**:

- Cross-functional Leadership: Act as a key point of contact between various departments, including Cultivation, Quality Assurance, Commercialization, R&D, Sales, Production, and Processing to align on broader business objectives.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Act as the main bridge between garden Supply Planning and Production Planning to ensure bulk is fully released and ready to pack (RTP) on time.
- Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work with the multiple QA departments (Ops, Controllers, the Lab, etc.) on removing roadblocks and keeping our products compliant to maintain our target RTP dates.
- Sales Collaboration: Provide detailed forecasts to the B2B department on external purchase requirements, and work with both the domestic Rec sales and International Sales teams for lot allocation when required.
- Lac-Supérieur (L-S) Collaboration: Communicate with the L-S team on bulk requirements between sites.
- Operations Collaboration: Lead initiatives to resolve transactional issues amongst Processing, Packaging, Extraction, and R&D.
- Commercialization Collaboration: Provide required information and flag risks to new item launches.

**Technology, Data Analysis & Reporting**:

- Operational Metrics: Monitor, report, and analyze key metrics such as excessive waste, potency trends, aged inventory, and transactional errors to ensure the business meets our customer service needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose improvements to maximize equipment utilization, minimize waste, and streamline production processes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to bulk supply, such as capacity bottlenecks, and develop contingency plans to address these risks.
